Bechdel Film Festival
October 14-16, 2022
Founded by filmmaker Cressandra Thibodeaux, the Bechdel Film Festival is dedicated to supporting and promoting female filmmakers. The festival will take place, October 14-16, 2022 in Houston, Texas. In addition to short and feature films, we'll have panel discussions, Cocktail Mixers, give out The Bechdel Film Award and much more.
All films must be directed or co-directed by a female.
In addition to showcasing the best of independent cinema in short and feature films from around the globe, the Bechdel Film Festival is specifically seeking films to highlight in our special program categories:

• Short Films
• Films which highlight Native American Culture
