Bechdel Film Festival is dedicated to supporting and promoting female filmmakers. The festival will take place, February 15-22, 2018 in Houston, Texas. In addition to short films, we'll have feature documentaries, panel discussions, script readings, "Works-in-Progress" and much more.  14 Pews will host 10 Bechdel Preview Parties to see all the submitted short films with an audience.   Audience members then vote, letting us know their TWO favorite films PER SCREENING.  All films will also be seen by 5 official film judges.  Collectively (judges' scores combined with audience members' scores) will help us choose the films which are screened at the Bechdel Fiilm Festival, 2018!
